About the Krause Auto Group
Welcome! The Krause Auto Group is a family-owned network of dealerships spanning Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and South Carolina.
Founded in 1991 by CEO and owner Vernon Krause, the company began with a single store—Krause Family Ford. Since then, it has expanded to 28 dealerships and over 1,800 employees across four states. Former Vice President and partner Dan Parks played a vital role in this growth. He initially managed stores in Atlanta before relocating to Huntersville, NC, in 2002 to operate Huntersville Ford. Over time, he also oversaw Anderson Ford, Asheville Ford Lincoln, Myrtle Beach Mercedes, Myrtle Beach BMW, Hyundai of North Charleston, Hyundai of Venice, and Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast. Dan’s contributions were instrumental in shaping the Krause Auto Group, and we remain deeply grateful for his lasting impact on our organization.

On February 17, 2015, we lost our beautiful, loving and caring daughter, Angela, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Angie was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer (anaplastic lymphoma kinase, or ALK) three days after giving birth to her second child, Mason. When Angie passed, she left behind her three-year-old daughter, Ava, Mason, and her loving husband, Blake.
Angie was our youngest daughter, and was a wonderful sister to our oldest daughter, Jennifer, and our two sons, Matt and Zack. She became the General Manager of Cherokee Lincoln of Alpharetta after starting her career at Cherokee Ford in Woodstock and is still missed greatly to this day. To honor the memory of our late daughter, we changed the names of several of our stores to include her name.
